What the Affiliate Center is for
The Affiliate Center lets a seller recruit and manage partners without adding a separate affiliate platform. ThriveCart's current feature set includes tracking links, partner attribution, commissions, automated payout support, affiliate analytics, and joint-venture tools on Pro+.
That is different from being a ThriveCart affiliate yourself. This feature is for running an affiliate program for your own products.
Useful controls for real programs
Affiliate programs become operationally demanding when you need product-specific commissions, coupons, partner links, payout rules, and reporting. ThriveCart has continued adding controls around affiliate-specific coupons and partner behavior.
Before recruitment, define your commission rules, refund window, prohibited traffic sources, attribution policy, payout timing, and how coupons affect credit.
When not to start yet
An affiliate program does not fix a weak offer. If conversion, refund behavior, or customer economics are unstable, adding affiliates can multiply the uncertainty. Validate the core offer first, then give partners a clear landing page, approved messaging, and predictable payout policy.
When Pro+ may earn its keep
If the Affiliate Center replaces a separate affiliate subscription or removes recurring manual payout work, Pro+ can be easier to justify. The decision should come from actual partner volume and operating needs rather than the appeal of having more features.
