A current guide to ThriveCart checkout, funnel, billing, affiliate, course, community, fulfillment, and reporting features—and which plan includes what.

At a glance: ThriveCart now combines a checkout engine with funnels, subscription controls, tax tools, digital delivery, affiliates, and ThriveCart Academy. Standard covers the core selling workflow; Pro+ adds the more advanced revenue, subscription, affiliate, branding, and reporting controls.

Checkout and payment tools

Standard includes customized checkout pages, hosted and embedded checkout formats, unlimited products and funnels, flexible billing, one bump offer, one-click upsells and downsells, A/B testing, cart-abandonment recovery, and tax automation. Those are the features most sellers should validate first because they shape the purchase experience.

ThriveCart also supports modal, one-step, two-step, and embedded checkout formats. The visual editor lets sellers change copy, imagery, colors, fonts, and layout without coding.

What Pro+ changes

Pro+ is less about unlocking basic selling and more about adding operational depth. Current Pro+ features include multiple order bumps, conditional offer paths, advanced subscription lifecycle controls, dunning, subscription analytics, custom branding and domains, multi-user permissions, UTM tracking, affiliate management, partner tracking, and business-intelligence reporting.

The practical question is whether one of those capabilities replaces another tool or a recurring manual process. If not, Standard can be the cleaner starting choice.

Courses and communities

Every current monthly ThriveCart license includes a ThriveCart Academy plan. Standard is paired with Academy Starter and Pro+ with Academy Growth. Academy supports courses, communities, quizzes, certificates, gamification, drip rules, student management, and native media hosting, with limits that vary by tier.

Older ThriveCart reviews often focus on Learn or Learn+. New buyers should evaluate Academy instead.

What to test before choosing

Create one real product, connect the payment processor you expect to use, build the checkout, add the post-purchase flow, and test fulfillment. If you sell subscriptions or courses, include cancellation, failed-payment, and access behavior in the test rather than judging the platform only by the editor.
